I affären mitt i byn hittar ni Abborrträsk Fiskecenter. Här finns fiskekort och information om 4 olika fiskeområden med 32 sjöar. Även till Byskeälvens övre FVO. Båtar att hyra finns i flera av sjöarna bla. i Abborrträsket mitt i byn med tex. öring och röding. Här finns även handikappanpassad fiskebrygga, båtmotorer att hyra och flytvästar att låna. Lägenhet och rum finns att hyra ovanpå byns affär. Samt ställplatser vid byns poolområde.
Rålund Adventure
We take the sledge behind the snowmobile to the nearby lake. Let your mind wander while ice fishing and enjoy the beauty of nature. You can sit by a frozen lake, drill a hole in the ice and enjoy the silence of the surroundings. It's a great opportunity to appreciate nature and maybe even catch a fish. You can warm up around an open fire, enjoy a hot coffee/tea and lunch and who knows, maybe even cook the freshly caught fish.

Our Swedish base camp, Granola Camp, is located 100 km south of the Arctic Circle near Arvidsjaur, in a small village called Suddesjaur. The place is calm, refreshing, near a lake, the ideal place to propose our stays in Lapland.

Laponie Mush offers both day trips and multi-day trips with accommodation for a maximum of 4 people.
Husky Abenteuer - Rönnliden
Husky Abenteuer is a relatively new dog sled company located in Rönnliden. They currently offer day trips for a maximum of 2 people, but have plans to expand the number of dogs, dog teams and future summer activities. There is also a cozy cottage that can be rented all year round.
Wildact Adventures - Storberg
At Wildact Adventures in Storberg, things never stand still. There are activities here for both summer and winter. The main occupation is dog sledding, which is evident from the 60-odd dogs on the farm, but you can also try snowshoe hiking, husky trekking, pack rafting, canoeing and much, much more. They also have a number of nice cottages and everything is beautifully located next to a lake and right next to the nice nature reserve Vittjåkk-Akkanålke.

Prästberget
Prästberget is a centrally located ski and snowboard slope for slightly more advanced skiers. Open in the evening Tues-Thurs during most of the season, also open on some weekends. A competition is held here every year. It is possible to book the entire slope for groups.
Rymmarstadion
A ski resort within walking distance of the center of Arvidsjaur. The tracks meander over Lillberget and are prepared as soon as the snow arrives. You can find the following trail lengths via signposted combinations:
7.5 km, 6.2 km, 4.5 km illuminated, 2.3 km, 1.5 km, 1.3 km

Kommunspåret/Eljusspåret
Next to the ice rink, a stone's throw from central Arvidsjaur, is the starting point of yet another ski trail that is 6.2 km long and illuminated. The track is usually prepared from mid-February.
Abborrträsk cross-country track
There is a 1.2 km lighted ski track starting at the football pitch. The lighting is switched on and off at the start. The track is prepared as soon as there is snow.
Glommersträsk cross-country track
The track in Glommersträsk starts at the ice rink and there you can ride the following track lengths:

The tracks are prepared every weekend as soon as there is enough snow. Most of the time, the shorter track becomes ridable before Christmas and the long one at the beginning of January.

Moskosel cross-country track
Here there are 2.5 km of lighted ski tracks plus 5 km that can be ridden during the day with a start at the parking lot at the church. The lighting is switched on at the start and is controlled via
timer. The 5km track is easy to ride and goes over beautiful lakes near the village of Moskosel.

Lauker cross-country track
1,3 km belyst skidspår med start vid byastugan. Prepareras från och med att det har snöat 40 cm.
Slagnäs cross-country track
1.9 km illuminated ski track, the lighting is switched on and off with a timer. Start behind the park in Slagnäs. Prepared as soon as snow arrives.

In winter, GLIF operates the ice rink in Glommersträsk, where the doors are always open when the ice is there. All skating is at your own responsibility and risk! For your safety – always wear a helmet on the ice!

Sellebo Garden
The interest in plants, colors, memories, history and own creation has shaped Sellebo Idéträdgård. A unique display garden far up in "Northern Sweden" filled with flower hills, flower cakes, vegetable garden, ponds, buildings, greenhouses, and love sofas. A garden café, a shop with its own handicrafts, garden decorations in rust/wrought, perennials and vegetables.
Flygbryggan (airplane jetty)
The view over Lake Arvidsjaur is really nice here. This is a good place for swimming, eating food over an open fire and to see the northern lights in winter. In winter, you can also check out the test driving cars that drive out onto the frozen lake.
Gallejaur Cultural Reserve
Gallejaur is an important cultural reserve where older buildings and landscapes are preserved. The area has a rich history and there are many interesting things to see and learn about.
Hängengården - Glommersträsk Hembygdsmuseum
Hängengården's Homeland Museum has a unique collection of buildings and objects from the 18th century onwards, which mainly show the inland settler era. Around 3000 objects are available for viewing!
Moskosel's Rallar Museum
In Moskosel there is the esteemed and interesting Rallar Museum where it is told about how the inland railway came to be and about all the interesting personalities who were involved in creating this railway. Check before hand that they are open!
Vittjåkk mountain
Vittjåkksfjällen and Akkanålke do not belong to our mountain chain, but are ancient mountains, five times as old as the real mountain chain, which is "only" 430 million years old. In the reserve there are peaks of over 700 m above sea level which provide a magnificent view. What is also unique to the area is that the border of mountain birch that is often found before Calfjällen is missing here. In the old spruce forest there are several endangered species that thrive in old forest with dead wood. Here you can hike in the summer and ski in the winter.

Nyborgstjärn (pond)
Nyborgstjärn runt is a pleasant walk that goes around the lake/pond itself. There are several rest areas around the entire area.
Lillberget (observation tower)
With a nice view of the community and several barbecue areas, Lillberget is the perfect place to visit.
Trollforsen (rapids)
Trollforsen is a beautiful stretch of rapids that also forms Trollholmen by dividing the rapids. Holmen is just under four kilometers long and at most 700 meters wide. On both sides, Trollholmen is surrounded by rapids. In several places, the southern arm has sharply cut down and formed ravines. A series of rapids and falls here form a mighty stair case. The forests on both sides of the river are old, here there are e.g. 4-500 year old pines.
Camp Gielas beach
Outdoor pool with nice beach. There is also a children's park and mini golf course, as well as a restaurant where you can buy yourself a cooling ice cream. Perfect for warm and lazy days.
Gamla Prästgården (old vicarage/parsonage)
A variety of old local items to discover and see. Here you can find needlework, home-baked fika bread and, of course, the home village museum. Also nice hiking trails where you can learn about the surrounding nature.
Lappstaden (old Sami town)
Lappstaden is Sweden's largest preserved Sami church town. in the Lappstaden there are over 80 kåts and hæbren from the end of the 18th century which are still owned by Sami families. On the last weekend in August every year, Lappstaden is used for real during the Great Spirit Weekend, a Sami church holiday.
The church
The church was inaugurated in 1903 and is the fifth church in Arvidsjaur. In the past, many of Arvidsjaur's churches were away at the roundabout at the E45, but as the ground was full of stones and surrounded by bogs, it was difficult to cultivate in the ground, which is why the current location for the new church was chosen. It was also closer to where the inhabitants lived due to the poor soil.
Grodkällan (frog spring)
Out on Slengmyran is the artesian/"boiling" spring, Grodkällan. Here, the turquoise water bubbles up from the ground under high pressure. Appointed Source of the Year 2019, by the Källakademin.
The moose family
The wooden moose family has been included in many visitors' selfies. You will find them outside Medborgarhuset and opposite the municipal hall.
Gallejaur Kultur- och naturreservat
Gallejaur, located in the southern tip of Arvidsjaur municipality in Norrbotten County, has been a nature and cultural reserve since 2008. The village today has well-preserved farm environments with associated old-growth forest. It is said that it is like stepping back in time to a Norrland 19th century.
Hembygdsgården - Gamla Prästgården
Visit our museum Gamla Prästgården, which takes you back to 17th-century Arvidsjaur. The farm itself was built in 1891 and was inhabited during the first decades by priest families, and since the 1970s has been a museum.
House of berries - Glommersträsk
At Bärens Hus, you can both see how the berries were picked and processed in the past, as well as see what happens when new products are made in Glommersbär's factory, which is housed on the floor below. We also have a creative corner for our youngest visitors. Book your visit!
Hängengården, Glommersträsk
Glommersträsk local museum "Hängengården" is located in the middle of the village and offers a unique 19th-century environment. The farm building dates from 1804 and was moved to its current location in 1810. Three more buildings belong to the original farm formation, while the others have been moved here since the farm became a homestead in 1937.
Rallar Museum - Moskosel
The rally museum is located in the village of Moskosel in the old station building. North of Moskosel in the village of Kåbdalis, the Inlandsbanan was joined in 1936 and built with sweat, muscle, skewers, shovels and wheelbarrows of rice and tree trunks. More about the hard life and work of the rallies around the Inlandsbanan can be found at the museum, where you can also get guided tours.

På sommaren öppnar Hotell Laponias utomhusbana. Infart från Västlundavägen (infart Karlavagnen). Gott om parkering, gångavstånd till det mesta.

Under vintermånaderna är ishallen öppen för allmän åkning. Vissa helger och kvällar kan avvika då det spelas ishockeymatcher.

There are boats for rent in several of the lakes, including Abborrträsket in the middle of the village, with trout and char to fish for. There is also a disabled-friendly fishing pier, boat motors for rent and life jackets to borrow.

En snöskovandring genom djupt, orört puder. Här hör du inga andra ljud än din egen andning, snöns knasande och vinden. Kanske till och med en polarnatt och med lite tur också med norrsken. Varje semesterfirare i Lappland bör uppleva detta minst en gång.

Visit in Pjesker
Only for big groups. If you book through the European Speed Club, you can drive Porsches and other luxury cars on the lake in Pjesker.
